IT IS THE MISSION OF THE LIFE AFTER THE IEP PROGRAM TO GUIDE FAMILIES THROUGHT THE PROCESS OF TRANSITIONING FROM THE EDUCATION-BASED SERVICE SYSTEM TO THE UNIQUE SUPPORTS PROVIDED BY THE ADULT SERVICE SYSTEM.

our mission

oh, hey...

I'M NICHOLE PANGLE, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE  ARC OF NORTHERN SHENANDOAH VALLEY & THE LIFE AFTER THE IEP PROGRAM

I'm glad you've found us!

As the parent of a child with a significant disability, I understand how challenging it is for parents and family members to understand the many aspects related to supports for their loved one.

Life After the IEP was developed as the result of numerous family members contacting us with two questions:

  • "What happens next?"; and

  • "What happens after my loved one graduates?"

We provide both families and students with information related to the transition from school process, and provide resources necessary for students to live happy, successful and inclusive lives.

I invite you to take a look around and contact me with any questions. I will be glad to help you!
